“ Went for dinner tonight with friends and found my new favourite place to eat. So good, the flavours were perfect! Love the tapas style, makes it fun to share and order multiple things from the menu. Atmosphere was great, beautiful restaurant. Service was good, quick, friendly and welcoming. “ I went for a Galentine’s dinner with my mother and grandmother. Natalie was our waitress, new to TX from Iowa. She did a great job and was so sweet. The food and drinks were exceptional. We had the goat cheese in brava sauce drizzled with hot honey, the calamari which is the best I’ve ever had, the chili infused shrimp and the catch of the day. Catch of the day was fried drum, with a fennel and arugula salad and pickled vegetables. I had the blueberry mojito which was fantastic. We cannot wait to go back and order more items. The table next to us had the paella and it looked amazing. ”
“ We stumbled upon Gabriela's by complete accident. We were on vacation, planning to go to The Boiling Pot, but lost track of time they had stopped accepting customers. So we googled seafood restaurants nearby. We walked in and were greeted by a smile and seated immediately. Our waitress gave us a rundown on recommendations. When I say absolutely everything was phenomenal, it is no joking matter. I truly hope someone sees this review. And decides to give it a try the way that we did. We come to Texas every two years, and I'm excited to go back. ”
“ What a great night out. After reading their mission statement on the website, about Gabriella’s being a space to come and hang out with your loved ones and friends to create memories, I was looking forward to seeing what that was all about and even more intrigued by the food pictures! Well they weren’t kidding... we sat and talked and talked and ordered and then ordered again! I was supposed to be on a diet but I soon got over that! Although if you would just get the seared tuna and watermelon salad - voila! You would have stuck to your diet! And it would have been plenty as each dish is shareable ! I got a bit grumpy as I’m not a sharer and wanted to order the same delicious dish again JUST for me, but when I realized the four of us were on a mission to taste almost the whole menu I did move on and enter into it wholeheartedly! I’m not going to list everything we had or try to give each item a review as we were very much in the moment and eating and visiting with our great friends. It was a very enjoyable experience. Would I return ? Hell yeah! ”

“ We dined on the upstairs patio, party of 10 for Easter brunch. Pretty view of the water, nice breeze. We shared many dishes and were impressed by them all; items from the main menu and the specials. Well seasoned, properly cooked, fresh seafood. Highlights include the brisket deviled eggs, strawberry grouper, gumbo, calamari, seafood tacos, chocolate torte, and key lime pie. The service was so prompt and the staff was happy and friendly, even on what must have been a busy day. Highly recommend! ”

I didn’t have a reservation and was just hoping to grab a table or even sit at the bar, and the staff could not have been kinder. The food? Even better. I started with their signature spicy pineapple margarita—absolutely incredible. Then came the tuna tostada and patatas bravas!! So beautiful and delicious - followed by the best ultimate bread pudding and ice cream to go! I’m still dreaming about that dinner! I lived in Spain - these are exquisite tapas! Gabriela’s Seafood and Tapas is a stunning spot whether you’re on a romantic date, celebrating something special, or just craving the most delicious food in Rockport.
